Daily Routine
Menu
Hickory House strives to provide good quality home cooked food for the
children in our care. To do this we employ a fulltime cook on the premises
and a part time cleaner to enable the staff to dedicate their time solely to looking
after the children and not spending time out of their room preparing tea etc.
Here is an example menu to show the varied items we offer the children.
The menu is planned weekly to ensure we can offer the children a balanced diet
and introduce seasonal vegetables or different dishes when there is a special
festival or celebration.

Extra Activities
This term we have been introducing some new activities to the
Hickory House day. These include music/rhythm sessions, French and Dance
& freedom of movement. At present these activities are aimed at the
3 – 5 age groups.
These groups are proving to be really successful and we hope
to be able to offer them again next term or possibly introduce something new.
Hickory House is constantly striving to improve the service
we provide to both parents and children.
