Teddies
In Tiny Teddies we caters for babies aged between
6 weeks and 9 months or
until they are crawling confidently.The room is self contained
and has
everything the babies need to keep them happy and safe.
Parents are asked to provide nappies, wipes and formula
milk, which can either be brought in everyday or brought in bulk and stored at
nursery. We also ask parents to provide food up until the babies are 6 months
old. This is so parents are in control of the weaning process and can introduce
different foods at their own pace.
The room has a maximum of 6 babies at any one time with
2 members of staff.
The toys within the room are age appropriate and are changed
regularly so the babies have a range of stimulating equipment to entertain them.
Baby Bunnies
In Baby Bunnies we cater for children aged 9 months
to approximately 14 months or until they are very steady on their feet.
The room is again self contained and also has a kitchen
area where milk and food can be kept fresh in the fridge and a steriliser and
microwave. Parents are asked to provide nappies, wipes and formula milk
up until they are on cow's milk of which the nursery provides.
Toys are slightly more activity based. This is to
involve the children and increase their fine and gross motor skills.
Toys are changed regularly and kept to a high standard.
Dinky Ducks
The Dinky Ducks room is for children aged between
15 months and 2 years and are very steady on their feet. This room holds
slightly larger equipment as the children are more mobile and adventurous.
The children are given the opportunity to explore different textures
through water and sand play. And take part in painting and creative activities.
The walls are filled with the children's work so they can feel proud of their
achievements. |
